Field Law, LLC (“Field Law,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information.
This policy applies to fieldlawllc.com and the forms, communications and online services that link to it. It also covers text messages sent under our SMS program. A separate service may provide additional privacy terms when you leave our website.
We collect information that you provide, information collected automatically and information received from service providers or referral sources.
You may provide personal information when you contact us, request a consultation or communicate with our team. This information may include:
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials or other highly sensitive information through our public contact form. Once Field Law instructs you to do so, use the secure intake or client system we identify.
When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
If we record or transcribe a telephone call, we will provide notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it.
We may receive information from someone referring you to Field Law. We may also receive information from courts, public records, parties involved in a legal matter or service providers that support our intake process.
We may use personal information to:
Field Law may retain limited information about prospective matters for conflict checking, recordkeeping and professional-responsibility purposes.
Submitting a form, sending a message or speaking with our staff does not create an attorney-client relationship. Field Law must first complete its review and agree to represent you.
Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until Field Law confirms the appropriate way to provide it. Information from prospective clients may remain subject to professional duties imposed by applicable law and ethics rules.
Our website uses cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies. Some support essential website functions. Others help us understand website traffic, measure advertising or identify how a visitor contacted us.
Current services may include:
You can manage nonessential cookies through the “Consent Preferences” control on our website. You can also restrict cookies through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features.
A browser’s traditional “Do Not Track” setting does not provide a uniform industry signal. Where applicable law requires it, we recognize qualifying opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control.
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
We use service providers for website hosting, security, analytics, communications, intake, document management, payment processing and business operations. They may process information only to provide services to Field Law or as otherwise permitted by law.
If Field Law cannot assist you, we may offer to connect you with another lawyer. We will obtain your permission before sending the substance of your inquiry to an unaffiliated lawyer unless the disclosure is otherwise authorized or required by law.
We may also disclose information to accountants, insurers, consultants or other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.
We may disclose information to comply with a subpoena, court order or other legal obligation. We may also disclose information to protect rights, prevent fraud, address security concerns or respond to an emergency.
Information may transfer as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of assets or similar business transaction. Any recipient would remain subject to applicable privacy and professional obligations.
Field Law does not sell personal information for money. We also do not provide client or prospective-client information to unaffiliated companies for their independent direct marketing.
Some analytics or advertising technologies may constitute “selling,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain state privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may opt out through our Consent Preferences control or a recognized opt-out preference signal.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 for targeted advertising.
This section governs text messages sent by or on behalf of Field Law.
Field Law may send text messages when you provide a mobile number and consent to receive them. Consent may be provided through an unchecked website box, a written request or another legally recognized method.
Consent to receive automated or marketing text messages is not a condition of hiring Field Law. If you do not consent to texts, you may contact us by telephone or email.
We maintain consent records as required by law. These records may include the number provided, date, time, source and language presented when consent was obtained.
Depending on your relationship with Field Law and the consent you provide, messages may include:
Do not send Social Security numbers, account credentials, medical records or other highly sensitive information by text. Use the secure method identified by Field Law.
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry or matter. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Text delivery is not guaranteed and should not be used for emergencies or urgent legal deadlines.
You may revoke SMS consent at any time. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to a Field Law text.
We will treat any other clear request to stop messages as an opt-out request. After an opt-out, we may send one nonpromotional message confirming that we processed the request.
An SMS opt-out does not prevent communications through other lawful channels. You may later ask to receive text messages again.
Reply HELP for assistance. You may also call Field Law at 225-341-5270.
Field Law does not sell or rent mobile telephone information. We do not share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide limited information to vendors that deliver or support our text messages. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for Field Law. We may also disclose information when legally required.
You represent that you control or are authorized to use the mobile number you provide. Please tell us if the number changes or is reassigned.
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in marketing text messages. A parent or legal guardian must provide any necessary consent for a minor.
We may use your email address to respond to an inquiry or communicate about an existing relationship. We may also send educational or promotional email when permitted by law.
Promotional emails will include a way to unsubscribe. We may continue sending service, legal or administrative messages that do not primarily advertise services.
Field Law uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. These measures may include access controls, secure systems, staff procedures and vendor oversight.
No website, email system, text platform or online transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data incident requires notice, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention may also depend on:
When information no longer needs to be retained, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or deidentify it.

These rights may be subject to exceptions. For example, we may retain information needed for legal services, conflict checks, professional duties, security, legal claims or compliance obligations.
To submit a privacy request:
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Verification protects personal information from unauthorized access or deletion.
An authorized agent may submit a request when applicable law permits it. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and confirmation of your identity.
If we deny a request, you may submit an appeal using the same method. Label the request “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
Our public website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.
An adult may provide information about a minor when seeking legal services. We use that information only for the inquiry, representation or another lawful purpose.
Our website links to third-party websites and services. Their privacy policies govern information collected after you leave our website.
A link does not mean that Field Law controls the third party’s privacy or security practices. Review the provider’s terms before supplying personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the revision date.
If a change materially affects information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or consent required by law.
